Some tips for use: 

The Falket double-grit sharpening stone can be used both dry or wet. Pass the medium-grit side (teal color) over the shears edge, applying light pressure and holding the same angle of the edge. Then go over the edge with the fine-grained side (light grey colour) to finish and remove any burrs.
Usually 8-10 passes should be enough to resharpen the shears, in case the blade is very worn a greater number of passes may be necessary, it is important not to put more pressure on the edge to avoid damaging it: it is better to pass a few more times, rather than pressing too much.
Suitable for both right- and left-handed use.

It can be used also for all kind of knives, sickles, scissors and other cutting tools.

Keep always your cutting tools sharp and clean: they will perform better and last longer. We recommend applying camellia oil on the blades to prevent rust.
