    i Cutting branches larger than 2 cm in diameter may form a small step in the center of the cut. This is caused by the thickness of the wedge blades which, penetrating the branch, create traction towards the top of the branch itself and at the end of the cut, due to this traction, a small step will remain. This does not happen on small branches as the penetration of the blades is minor, the blade thinner and, consequently, there is less traction.
    This little step does not cause any problems for the branch healing.
